Measure your image in cm or mm.  Specify the width and length.

The size of the printed image or logo depends on your design, and where you plan to print it on the T-shirt, sweatshirt or hoodie

All image artwork must be of a high resolution, and not less than 300dpi.  The size should be 1:1.  I.e. the same size in pixels as the size you need to print.

Our team will check your image, and provide you with a professional mockup of the planned print, and confirm the intended result, size and placement.

Please note:

  • Horizontal images tend to look smaller.
  • Vertical images have more space on the front of a T-shirt, sweatshirt and hoodie, and can be printed very large.
  • Logos on the chest should be in line with the side of the neckband, and the center of the armhole.
  • Printing on a sleeve requires additional space around the image to accommodate seams.

Silkscreen printing

The standard print desk has a fixed size.

  • The maximum length of an image is 45cm
  • The maximum width of an image is 40cm

All-over printing and image sizes outside of the standard size require a printing on a table with extra large screens.

When silkscreen printing across seams and neckbands, bumps and gaps in the printed image can occur.

Thermotransfer printing

This method is impossible across seams and holes.  Because washing will dislocate the glue, and the image can start to peel away.

The standard print desk for thermotransfer printing is

  • The maximum length of an image is 35cm
  • The maximum width of an image is 30cm

DTF printing

This method of printing works well with large sizes. However if the image is very large, and very solid (without many gaps), the result will have very plastic feel.  It is recommended to use smaller images or designs with many gaps in the image.

The standard print desk for DTF printing is

  • The maximum length of an image is 50cm
  • The maximum witdh of an image is 55 cm

Embroidery, beading and tafting

It is recommended to embroidery smaller images, or large images in small sections.  This is the same for beading and tufting.

The largest recommended size for these methods is

  • The maximum length = 20cm
  • The maximum width = 25cm
